Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are personal coaches at The FIIT Co. Certified?

A: Yes, our coaches are certified and/or licensed in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations of the state of Colorado.

Q: I haven't worked out in a long time? Can I still do the workout?

A: Yes! The FIIT Co. is geared toward ALL levels of fitness and everyone is free and encouraged to go at their own pace. We recommend trying a free introductory workout, then discussing any thoughts or questions you may have regarding your fitness goals, with your coach.

Q: If I have an injury, can I still participate in a class?

A: Yes, just let the trainer know. Every exercise can be modified to suit your individual needs and our coaches will work with you to find appropriate options to accommodate you.

Q: I’m pregnant, can I still do the workout?

A: If you’ve already been doing The FIIT Co. workouts and become pregnant, check with your doctor first. That said, our MyZone heart rate monitoring is a perfect way to keep an eye on your intensity as you progress through your pregnancy. Be sure to let your coach know at the beginning of your class that you might need some workouts adjusted.

Q: Do you have locker rooms/showers?

A: Yes, we have showers available for use along with towels, shower supplies, and blow dryers. We also have lockers but you must use your own lock.

Q: What do I bring to a FIIT Co. class?

A: We recommend bringing a water bottle and a towel. Towels are available for free at the front desk. We also encourage our members to train barefoot at The FIIT Co. By exercising barefoot, you will improve your balance and overall stability, see improvements in posture and movement patterns, and decrease tension and pain. For those who are not comfortable training barefoot, we ask that you bring indoor sneakers specifically for working out to ensure our space stays clean and free of any outside debris.

Q: What is the difference between the Heavy FIIT, Inferno FIIT and Hustle FIIT circuits?

A: The difference is the intensity of the workout. Heavy FIIT is your traditional strength class focusing on one or two main primary moves per class. Inferno focuses on the traditional HIIT style workout with the goal of getting that heart rate up quickly and keeping it at an omptimal intensity rate. This allows for classes to be taken each day without overtraining muscle groups. Alternate your circuits and allow for rest and recovery of every muscle!

Q: Why wear a heart rate monitor?

A: You are not required to wear a heart rate monitor, but we recommend wearing one to more efficiently track your intensity, ensuring you stay in the correct zone to help optimize stamina and calorie burn. Ask one of our trainers for more details on how you can purchase.

Q: How often should I work out at The FIIT Co.?

A: To achieve optimal results, we recommend 4-5 classes per week. Though you could come every day, rest and recovery is as important as the work. We rotate each day between 3 different exercise formats that we run for 2 weeks, before changing it up. Keeping this in mind, we would recommend you train 2-3 days in a row depending on how you are feeling and then take a day off followed by another 2-3 days in a row. This way, you get enough variety to keep it fun, a good work-to-rest ratio to avoid over-training, and enough repetition to progress and begin to master the movements.

Q: Where do I park?

A: There is free 2-hour parking and metered parking offered on Market Street just in front of our studio.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Unlimited visits $149/month, 8x’s/month $119, 10 pack of classes $189 (3 month expiration)

Q: Is there a penalty for canceling?

A: If you are registered for a class and no longer able to attend, you have 8 hours prior to the start of class to remove yourself from the roster without penalty. For those who are on a membership-base contract, a late cancellation will result in a $20 charge and a no-show will result in a $20 charge. Anyone with class packages will lose the class credit.

Q: How early should I arrive for class?

A: At this time, you will not be allowed in the building until 15 minutes prior to class.

Q: How do I cancel my Membership?

A: To cancel your Membership, you must submit a cancellation at least 5 days prior to your membership draw date to manager@thefiitco.com.
